The Brass Ring
In life there are a few people who are born with it! They can do whatever they want and no one can touch them. Society needs them a lot more than they are ever going to need its validation or acceptance. Being such a person is wonderful.
People stand in awe of us and they just watch us as the show is run. Bending the rules and the will of men in directions we choose. Walk in to a room and you know you are it; the one everyone is looking at, the one all the guys hate, and the one all women want to be with.
While growing up I had the pleasure of being around a lot of these great men. My father to this day has never ever had to follow any rules enforced up on men (although he never misuses his authority), my brother (closer than blood) who I met when I was 18; he usually walks in to a room and pushes everyone in to his reality under eight minutes.
I am pretty sure in my case I got it because of my genes; I was born in to/with it.
Respected by all, women will knock each other over just to have a chance to talk to you; power and influence protect and follow you around.
Everyone knows it; you are the one, the boss, master of all you survey, you see what you want and take it, look at enemies and destroy them, annihilate everything that dares to ever come up against you.
I am usually not aware of it because it is natural, but I saw it in play yesterday; my brother invited me to a sale close (his largest potential client). He wanted me there because he felt it was the only way he could close this particular client (He had been working the potential client for over Eight months). I went along (I would do anything for him) with him and I saw the magic happen, the sale was closed long before either of us even said a word. The potential client became a client and my brother is on cloud nine (Note @ Shalom: This is the beginning, I know this is the largest client you have closed but soon this is going to be a speck). The magic – Client couldn’t stop talking to me/about me.
This is the game, we win long before they start playing!
* I don’t believe in competition, I never compete – I just win.
@ Shalom.
You are close, believe it!
<Phone ringing> This is great, but let’s stop.
Regards,
Mav.
