Get over it and focus!

During the course of the past 1 week, my carrier and my life where put to the test. I was stuck in a particular period of my rise, a dreadlocked position I knew I had to get out of but I just couldn’t do it.
Now I am sure it’s hard to fathom me not being able to do something but it happens sometimes. I go in to a lite spiral and start indulging in a few destructive tendencies, my usual cure is to go out and buy something to pick my spirits up / indulge in some other pleasures (Women / Something High risk <Gambling, Adventure sports, etc>).

But my cures were not going to help me as this problem required me to come up with a specific solution to a extremely specific problem, I had to focus and crossover but there was no bridge, I had to build it.

I tried my best but I just couldn’t locate the way to get to where I wanted to go (in regards to the particular problem). In life you need three things to succeed – Know where you are, know where you are going, know how to get there. I had the first two, the problem was the bridge I needed to cross, it didn’t exist. Believe me, my worst day is by the Grace of God better than most people’s best days but this was a funk and I was in it, God did keep sending me care packages along the way but I still didn’t know how to get where I wanted to go. My focus, skill, talent and core where put to the test. I am a person who can’t just stand by and do nothing, so I just kept trying, thinking.
Some how I needed to find the way.

So I was in a hole, and the first step you take when you realize you are in a hole is to stop digging. So I suspended activity on this particular problem and calmed myself (Keep in mind, I was on a dead line) and I started writing this hoping it would give me an idea (I decided not to publish it till my situation was resolved though).

I think I located the specific reason the bridge was hiding, my opponent is quite skilled and is forcing me in to his reality (I.E Making me think and act the way he wants me to as If I am in his world). I remember who I am, I am number 1, I am by Grace of God The Best and I mean it literally, I can control, push, pull and rule all that I want so how is that I still....
Number 1: I focus on a win I experienced recently, I walked up to the stage and people where giving me a standing ovation, I felt good. That second I knew I was me, all that I had tried so hard to be I had achieved, that second was perfection (P.S : I killed the speech <In the best way possible>).
Sometimes in life we need to look back and admire all that we dreamed of and now posses, we need to appreciate it. So I did that, I visualized that day down to the last detail, I felt incredible, untouchable, I felt like I was me again. I am pretty sure you are wondering about the problem, not to worry – Done and done.
Remember never get forced in to anybody else’s reality & if you set a target make sure you kill it (P.S Set some targets)!

This thing we do is much bigger than any one of us, remember it!

Regards,
Mav.

P.P.S: Never let one part of your life affect another, while going through all of this I kept my composure, helped everyone who requested my help and kept focus on all other aspects of my life & took care of all other responsibilities <this is critical>!

You should let affect a part of your life effect another. If you try to hard not too then it will stress you out.
