Obsession with Possession
I remember, it started when I was 9 a deep obsession with possessing everything around me. Every single thing that caught my fantasy/attention I wanted to posses. Be it tool sets, bit kits, computers, rifles, gadgets, guitars, dogs etc.
My parents being the wonderful people they are supported my obsession. I really could not sleep without possessing what I desired.
Acquaintances tired to dissuade me (and my parents from supporting) from my compulsive behavior with truly trivial and self defeating arguments, lets just say my parents were brilliant and kept on.
This went on till I was 16 .
At the age of 16 I realized why my parents were so incredible.
I started my business and the same obsession my acquaintances thought was gonna destroy me, pushed me in to being what I am today.
My obsession has just gotten bigger and bigger but here is the reason why It helped - My parents (the smart people) I mentioned taught me something at a very young age.
Give some, Spend some, Save some
Any one without the other will be disastrous.
Now possession is a pleasure I enjoy.
For the record now I get off on owning just about anything.

P.S : At the age of sixteen I learned a few other things too, one being - You can, how do I put this in words that wont offend : With the right amount of skill/money you can make people do the things you want them to do.
